Description
A Louis XV style gilt bronze mounted boulle marquetry clock, First Quarter 20th Century. Movement stamped with Samuel Marti pastille stamp also MADE IN FRANCE. Height 13 3/4 inches, greatest width 7 1/4 inches, depth 4 1/4 inches. Condition: the gilding toned and worn on high points due to age. Scroll of cut brass inlay sprung on lower right.  Area of cut brass inlay missing from behind shell cresting. NOTE: All clocks are in vintage condition and are sold as is regardless of functionality. Please examine the provided photos to thoroughly evaluate each piece. We suggest an overhaul at buyer's expense.
